This website is a portal for anyone interested in the more subtle aspects of our being.
Have you ever thought that there is more to you than meets the eye? Of course there is.
Have you ever thought that there is more to your body than meets the eye? Possibly.
We are familiar with the Physical anatomy of ourselves.
What if there were an Emotional anatomy, a Mental anatomy, a Spiritual anatomy?
Let us consider.
All ideas presented here will be effected with careful reference to sources: be they quotes,
ideas or images.
A Compilation of theories is just that. Empirical proof is impossible at this
time. Yet the fact that there is so much written about them from so many varied sources, with such little
discrepancy or contradiction; surely warrants some serious consideration.
"It is one of the commonest of mistakes to consider that the limit of our power of perception is also the limit
of all there is to perceive." (CW Leadbeater)
I have a body, yet I am not that body
I have feelings, yet I am not those feelings
I have emotions, yet I am not those emotions
I have thoughts, yet I am not those thoughts
Who am I?
(Roberto Assagioli)
Our perception of the world is determined by the performance of our organs of perception. These organs have
limited
spectra in which they are able to function. Modern scientific measurement apparatus can now observe frequencies
far above and below
the range of all our sensory organs.
Sight is our perception of a small (8%) section of the Electromagnetic Spectrum.
Hearing is our perception of a relatively small (53%) part of the Electromagnetic Spectrum.
Touch allows us to sense a part of a spectrum. Animals sense earthquakes well before us.
Smelling is far exceeded by animals and insects
Taste is probably a spectrum too.
